The Gibraltar Branch is fully registered with and recognised by the Manchester United Football Club. The Branch is invited to and represented at the Branch Conferences held at Old Trafford biennially. At least two members of the Committee attend each conference.
The Branch is a non profit-making organisation that boasts of its own logo and a constitution adopted in accordance with the requirements of the Branch Charter. In keeping with its Rules, the Branch is administered by a committee which is elected annually. A set of annual accounts, audited by Baker Tilly, is also presented to the membership for approval at every Annual General Meeting.
We are proud to claim that Manchester United supporters outnumber all other football club supporters on the Rock. Approximately 2% of the population are fully paid up members of the Branch. Our premises are located close to the City Centre, at Wellington Front. The premises were officially inaugurated on the 10th August 2009 by none other than Sir Alex Ferguson himself in the presence of the Branch Patron, The Hon. Peter R. Caruana, Chief Minister of Gibraltar. Other distinguished guests attending the inauguration ceremony included Bryan Robson, Mike Phelan and Barry Moorhouse.
Members can watch every game live at the Branch premises. In addition to two television screens situated close to either end of the bar, a top of the range HD projector and a remote controlled motorised screen enables members to enjoy a 104 inch view of United's displays.
